The 7 Star Grouper (Kerapu Merah) is one of the most sought-after reef fish on the Malaysian table. Its flesh is firm yet delicate, with a clean sweetness that holds up beautifully to steaming — the classic Cantonese preparation with ginger, spring onion and a drizzle of hot oil.
Every grouper we sell is hand-selected by our buyer at dawn and never held over to the next day. Tell us how you plan to cook it and our team will scale, gut, fillet or baby-cut it free of charge before it leaves the shop, vacuum-bagged and packed on ice for the ride to your kitchen.
